佛要金裝，人要衣裝，建案為求吸引購屋者上門，不惜砸大錢在人潮聚集或主要幹道搭建美侖美奐外接待中心。《住展》雜誌統計全台外接待中心主要分布地區，包括基隆，新北市新莊、林口、三峽、鶯歌、淡水、八里及汐止等地區，以及桃園高鐵站及新竹竹北都是外接待中心密布區。

台中市地大物博，最流行搭建外接待中心，台灣大道及文心路2主要幹道、東海大學中科周邊，以及豪宅推案熱區7期重劃區與國美館周邊，加上近期熱門推案區11、12期重劃區也充斥許多外接待中心；高雄市則集中於美術館特區及農16重劃區。

《住展》雜誌研發長倪子仁提醒民眾購屋前須掌握4大方向，包括了解工地與房屋的實際位置、注意生活機能是否健全、有無嫌惡措施與工地周遭未來動向，才能避免掉入外接待中心的美麗陷阱。（王筱君／台北報導）
