海格：美對外政策從軍事轉向外交

美國國防部長海格1日在德國慕尼黑安全會議上表示，強調歐巴馬政府意圖將對外政策的焦點從軍事力量轉到外交工作上。海格表示，他與國務卿柯瑞「共同致力於恢復美國國防與外交政策的平衡」。

他強調，美國正在從「一場歷時13年的 (阿富汗)戰爭中抽身」，且華府將避免再度介入海外的衝突。海格的談話，與歐巴馬在國情咨文中的說法相互應和；歐巴馬表示，美國不能只依靠軍事力量，並承諾美國只有在「真正有必要時」才會派軍隊赴海外作戰。
