絕妙組合 蘇格蘭遲鈍村與美國無聊縣

【大紀元2013年08月13日訊】(大紀元記者周恆英國報導)天下之大無奇不有。英國蘇格蘭佩斯郡有一個名為「遲鈍」（Dull）的村莊，而遠在美國的俄勒岡州有一個名為「無聊」(Boring)的縣。近日，這兩個地方結成了友好聯盟，並且宣佈8月9日成為「無聊與遲鈍日」。

雙方政府的工作人員對於這個結盟非常興奮，並且還計劃了一系列活動慶祝，包括風笛表演和男聲四重唱。「遲鈍」村的居民對於這個結盟能夠吸引更多的「無聊」鎮居民到訪感到高興。

2012年，「遲鈍」村的一名居民在美國渡假，騎自行車旅行的途中遇到了這個名為「無聊」的小鎮，並把消息傳給了本村人。此後，雙方決定結盟。

目前，遲鈍村裡面已經樹立起了一塊標誌慶祝與「無聊鎮」的結盟。無聊鎮也計劃在秋季立起一塊類似的標誌牌。村裡的一位居民表示：「這已經使社區聚集到了一起。我們已經收到了一些很友好的電子郵件，還有幾位來自無聊鎮的遊客。很明顯，這是一個天造的組合，會持續很久。」
