高雄市立空中大學18日舉行畢業典禮，有430位畢業生順利取得畢業證書。高雄市副市長李永得和校長張惠博頭戴機師帽，將象徵「幸福學習」的意象物頒給5位畢業生代表。

就讀工商管理系的楊淑美在台北貿易公司當主管，一直未能圓上大學夢的她為了能定期和父母相聚，選擇南下高雄就讀，每周末拖著行李箱趕高鐵，她笑說：「花掉的交通費比學費還貴！」袁永芳是台灣新住民，看到擔任建築師的先生念碩士，自己也興起學習念頭，就讀期間懷孕、生子，仍堅持學習，花了6、7年時間完成科技管理系學業。
