【綜合報導】印度日前有一名小男嬰拉胡爾，被家人指出有「自燃體質」，會無緣故全身燒起來，但經醫生分析和研究，今日院方排除罹患「人體自燃症」的可能，認為他有可能遭到虐待。

家人指出，拉胡爾至少4次自燃著火，導致身體多處燒傷。醫生分析他的汗、血、尿液和基因後，排除男嬰自燃的可能。不過，男嬰的父親堅稱，並無放火焚燒親兒，又指因為部份人不相信自己，加上男嬰或會無故自燃，所以不敢返回村落，希望政府提供保護。而當地警方表示，除非有人舉報，否則他們不會對拉胡爾的個案展開調查。

全球過去300年，有200起人體自燃的個案紀錄，但醫學界仍無法解釋這個現象。
