潭美颱風來襲，苗栗地區出現間歇性大雨，頭屋鄉明德水庫持續調節性洩洪，災害防救中心今天上午8點成立，目前沒有傳出重大災情，縣政府上午10點宣布，今天中午12點以後，全縣停止上班、停止上課。
