前總統李登輝24日晚上出席李登輝基金會募款餐會，因剛動完椎動脈支架手術，無法如往例一般上台致詞，改由女兒、基金會副董事長李安妮代為宣讀致詞稿，孫女李坤儀也在一旁照顧。

據報導，日前李登輝剛動完椎動脈支架手術，之後便一直靜心休養，李登輝基金會募款餐會是李登輝術後首度公開露面的場合，前副總統呂秀蓮、民進黨主席蘇貞昌、台聯黨主席黃昆輝、獨派大老辜寬敏及醫師柯文哲等人都到場致意。

致詞稿由女兒、基金會副董事長李安妮代為宣讀，內容提到，台灣司法需要改革、國會失去監督功能、反民主勢力一直威脅台灣民主，李認為因過去太強調自由化和全球化，反而造成產業流失。
