魏蔓首次擔任偶像劇女主角，與名模王思平煙硝味十足，戲中遭同父異母的姐妹王思平忌妒，拍攝主視覺時兩人更分別化身黑白天鵝互相較勁比美，一個拋酥胸另一個露美腿，讓現場眾人大飽眼福。

王思平在台視、三立《愛回到以前》不時與魏蔓較勁爭寵，她笑說：「這個角色跟我之前拍的不太一樣，有姐妹情仇在裡面，是個心機女；我是來耍狠的，想詮釋出不同的層次，希望大家看了會恨得牙癢癢的。」但其實兩大正妹戲外惺惺相惜，魏蔓讚王思平是美女，王思平也直呼魏蔓漂亮如芭比娃娃。

由於兩人皆飾演芭蕾舞者，一逮到機會就狂練舞，魏蔓經過兩個禮拜的魔鬼訓練下來，更是練到腳趾甲外翻斷裂，但她敬業不怕痛直呼：「雖然全身酸痛，但卻很過癮。」而王思平為訓練手臂肌耐力，還特地舉啞鈴鍛鍊自己。
