日經新聞27日報導，受惠蘋果(Apple)iPhone產品熱銷、提振用戶數增加，帶動日本第2大電信業者KDDI今年度上半年(2013年4-9月)合併營益可望達3,400億日圓，將較去年同期大增5成、且將創歷年同期史上新高水準。

報導指出，2013年9月份KDDI手機淨增用戶數(新契約數-解約數)達23萬2,700件，雖遜於軟銀(Softbank)的27萬700件，惟若就「門號可攜服務(MNP；Mobile Number Portability)」來看，9月份KDDI以11萬800件的淨增數(轉入數減去轉出數後的數值)連續第24個月位居首位。

日經指出，4-9月期間KDDI手機淨增用戶數達133萬件，較去年同期成長3成，且在KDDI的整體用戶數中(截至9月底為止為3,904萬戶)、高達4成比重為數據用量較多的智慧手機用戶。

4-9月營益可望創新高，帶動KDDI股價走揚。根據嘉實XQ全球贏家系統報價，截至台北時間28日上午11點30分為止，KDDI勁揚2.22%，報5,070日圓。
